Life & Interests

Beyond the code.

I grew up in Tajikistan, where curiosity about how computers work set me on a path into software engineering. Starting with simple scripts and gradually moving to full production systems, every project taught me something new about building things that actually matter.

After graduating with a B.Sc. in Computer Science, I joined Alif Bank — one of Tajikistan's leading fintech companies — where I worked on high-availability APIs and deployment infrastructure.

In 2024–2025 I completed mandatory national service, sharpening discipline and time management while contributing to open-source on the side. Today I'm back in full-stack engineering, building microservices and looking for remote opportunities to work on hard problems.

Reliability firstI design for failure, write tests, and monitor everything.
Clean architectureComplexity is earned, not assumed. Code should be easy to change.
Continuous learningI stay curious, read deeply, and build side projects to stay sharp.
CollaborationI communicate clearly, review code thoughtfully, and help others grow.
Open Source & Side Projects
I contribute to open-source projects and build personal tools to scratch my own itches — mostly around developer tooling, automation, and CLI utilities.
Reading & Research
From distributed systems papers to philosophy — I read broadly. Understanding the "why" behind things matters as much as the "how" in engineering.
Outdoors & Sport
Tajikistan has stunning mountains. I hike, stay active, and believe physical discipline and mental clarity go hand in hand.
Linux & Tooling
I run Linux daily and obsess over my development environment. Neovim, tmux, shell scripts — I treat my tools as seriously as my code.
Languages & Cultures
I speak Tajik, Russian, and English. Learning how different cultures approach problems gives me perspective I bring to engineering decisions.
Music
Deep focus work pairs best with ambient and electronic music. I have opinionated playlists for every kind of task.
